In practice
- Filing
Armenia's turnover tax — available where income does not cross AMD 115 million in the prior year, alongside other ownership and activity-type conditions — generally replaces VAT obligations for small and medium enterprises. VAT payers otherwise file a unified VAT and excise tax return monthly, due before the 20th of the following month.

Capital Gains Tax
Income from the sale of shares, treasury bonds, and other state securities is exempt from individual income tax in Armenia. Dividends and other income from stocks, bonds, or investment securities listed on the Armenian Stock Exchange are also exempt from tax until 31 December 2027, with some exceptions.
Crypto Tax
Armenia's tax code currently contains no crypto-asset-specific provisions and no general provisions for taxing capital gains realized by individuals; as a result, non-entrepreneur individuals are exempt from taxation on their crypto-asset gains. This mirrors the tax code's treatment of securities, which are also excluded from the personal income tax base.
Wealth Tax
No net wealth/worth tax levied in Armenia. Corroborated by EY's Worldwide Personal Tax and Immigration Guide 2025-26, which states there is no gift tax, inheritance tax, or wealth tax in Armenia.
